What is the World Wide Web (www)

What is the World Wide Web (www)?

Information is kept as a website in the World Wide Web. These websites store hypertext files on the web server. There is a name system of the World Wide Web, by which each website is given a special name. By the same name he is recognized on the web. The name of a website is also called its Uniform Resource Locator.

Both the World Wide Web and the Internet are two things, but both are dependent on each other. The World Wide Web is a huge collection of pages containing information that are connected to each other. Which is called a web page. The web page is written in HTML language which is a language used in computers. What makes a web page interesting is a hyperlink, often called a link.

Each link points to another page and when we click on it, our browser makes the page linked to the link available. Therefore, the World Wide Web is a large database of information and every information is connected to another information.

The World Wide Web was invented in 1989 by Tim Berners Lee, a British computer scientist.

A server is a type of computer in which all the contents of the website such as web pages, images, videos etc. are stored. The server is connected to the world wide web so that these contents can be accessed from any corner of the world via the Internet.
